We believe story is a powerful tool for healing, a way to make meaning from lived experience, recognize the humor that naturally emerges from honest, unfiltered moments, and foster deeper connection.

Founded by filmmaker Kaily Smith, Kind Spirit Studios is both a personal creative home for her own voice and a platform that champions the voices of others. The studio develops both true stories and original narratives that center women in moments of change, awakening, and self-discovery, often finding lightness, romance, and humor alongside emotional depth.
